About Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership

The CT BHP is a Partnership that consists of the Department of Children and Families (DCF), the Department of Social Services (DSS) and the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS). Consultation is provided to the CT BHP by a legislatively mandated Oversight Council. The Departments contracted with Beacon Health Options to serve as the Administrative Services Organization (ASO). Expanded in 2011 to include DMHAS, the contract is designed to create an integrated behavioral health service system for our members; Connecticut’s Medicaid populations, including children and families who are enrolled in HUSKY Health and DCF Limited Benefit programs.
